Wearable computing and eyeglass mounted displays

 Aeinnovations.Com Notes Type-B-5
This wearable HUD (heads up display) is a bit more hardcore than the eye glasses with a camera stuck on it” This display marked an interesting point in my design work. It was made to be as covert as possible (which was still not covert enough) and was built into ordinary sunglasses. An important feature of this display was that it could easily be taken “out of the way” by tipping the glasses down your nose slightly or by just looking over the rims. It is not always desireable to have a display right in front of you. Lack of eye contact can also be a problem when interacting with people. This display, being not very ‘tall’, could easily be looked over or tipped down the nose and out of the way. A very handy feature. “ [via] – Link.
