  I was very excited to try out this program, but looks as if I will to cobble one together on my own. Has this been an issue with other D.I.Y. articles with code or downloads mentioned in the paper article not being available?

• Standalone coming -- Here's the patch itself

  To everyone, I'm very, very sorry this is still not up. I've been facing some odd technical difficulties which I hope to resolve in the next day or two. This is my fault, not Make's. The standalone is working fine for me on Mac, but not on Windows.
  
  In the meantime, here's the patch on which the standalone is based. It can be used in the Max/MSP + Jitter demo for up to 30 days. Honestly, I recommend that course, as you may find you want to adjust the patch for your own use. Over the coming months, I will continue experimenting with generalized patches, but for now, I think you'll like the ability to edit it.
  
  For those who just want to see what this is about without having to follow the instructions for downloading the Max demo, I do hope to have those standalone apps very soon. If you're subscribed to this trackback, you'll receive notification.

  I excitedly checked this page to download the stand-alone app that Mr. Kirn mentioned in the article (supposedly including download, instructions and hack details), but I am unable to find it here! Any hints on where to look?

  That's coming very soon -- sending along an improved version that takes advantage of Jitter 1.5. Testing and uploading this week.
