    I have a hard time believing that there are even playgrounds anymore with the litigious nature of our society.

    There was one of these at my elementary school playground. They raised it too high for the kids to climb on, and eventually welded it so it couldn’t spin. It became the least fun piece of equipment on that playground.

    There was also one of these barrels on the playground at my elementary school. The only difference was there was a bar near the top that you could hold onto. its like the poor mans treadmill. Its pretty much impossible to run on though because the slightest bit of force will send it spinning out of control so you’d just end up holding your self up by the bar and kicking the barrel wildly. It was almost as fun and the mountain of giant terragator tires they made us play inside of…
