Jewelry Designer Stephanie Wells from Double Happiness Jewelry has a new book out called The Earring Style Book. Can I just say this book had me at hello? The cover image of these Rio earrings just captured me. Aren’t they gorge? Inspired by shattered glass, the beads are stacked straight. This is just one of the interesting techniques in the book which you can vary and create some amazing looks. Wells’ designs are favorites among top celebrites and fashion stylists and you can tell why just by browsing through the book. She starts of with jewelry basics from wrapping wire into her standard forms to detailed descriptions of various beads. You can make a simple pair of earrings in just a twenty minutes or in about an hour and a half, make the Rio earrings shown above. Throughout each section, Wells’ sparks your creativity with her mood board pages that are peppered with fashion photos, fabric swatches, beads, vintage letters and more. Pick up this book if you are looking for ways to stylishly up the ante in your jewelry crafting. As for me, I’m off to the bead store now.

What girl wouldn’t love this book?
I have been a vintage dealer for 31 years. After being hit by a car 3 years ago I have not been able to keep my retail space and am working on new adventures..Making earbobs is part of that journey( I want to use as much “recycled” goods and bits and pieces as I can.
This book looks like a wonderful way to aid me in my quest.Thank you for the opportunity!

I love earrings and would love to have this book for more inspiration!
I have wanted to get back into jewelry making and would love to gather inspiration from this beautiful book! I love earrings the most! :)
For many years my lobes existence have been just boring, empty holes of nothingness.
Well, I am happy to report, I’ve decided in recent weeks, that this just had to change.
I’ve recently dusted off my box full of lobe jewels, & started dressing up these soft fleshy bits attached to my ear! Needless to say… winning The Earring Style Book would help guarantee my lobes looked dressed up & pretty! What a great idea for a book! Seriously, I think it would be so fun to attempt to make some pretty earrings for myself, & with the holidays coming up… why not make gifts for my friends & family to! Good luck y’all :)
I’ve only made a few earrings myself, but would love to be inspired to do more! I can’t wear necklaces (they make me feel like I’m chocking), so earrings are MY jewelry statement.
I’m a little earring crazy so of course this book looks like fun!
Cause earrings is the hardest thing for me to make and i need inspiration! -Esya
I’m FULL OF CRAFT!
I have been designing jewelry for about 20 years now and am always looking for new techniques and materials. The book looks fabulous and I can’t wait to get to see more!

Denise

I have a stash of semi-precious beads left over from my wedding projects more than a year ago. They’ve been sitting around, waiting for just the right projects to come along that will put them to the best use. I’d love to win The Earring Style Book!

I have so many crafty friends and I am intimidated at trying to make them Christmas presents. This book would really be a godsend!
i only wear one earring at a time, because my ears are stretched and i have a tunnel in one ear, and a huge cbr in the other, so i end up making most of my own earrings, instead of always having to buy 2 – this would be perfect for inspiration, i need more variety!
oooh lah lah.
This book looks so fantastic and inspiring. I love making earrings but have been stuck in the basics with simple bead earrings for some time now. Although I love them, I’m BORED! I want to try new things and have been wanting to experiment with wire and metal for months now. This book looks like my answer! I’m dying to see more pages and ideas.

This book will be very good at helping me in my discovery of beadwork with its stylish designs and instructions. These will be used as gifts to friends and family for various occasions. thanks for putting it together for a complete beginner.
I’ve been making earrings for a couple of years now, but I seem to be in a rut lately. A lot of what I see in magazines seems to be the same old stuff, and this book looks like just the thing to reinspire me!
Oh,oh,oh! I read about this book a couple months ago and put it on my wish list! Now I wish I would win it!
Because when I look at the projects in beading magazines my face contorts into ugly shapes! I need some guidance on making modern, hip, and pretty earrings! I make simple ones but could use help taking my ear jewelry to the next level…
I’d love to get back into jewellery making and my earring collection definitely needs some work, thanks for the opportunity to win!
I am not dressed if I don’t wear earrings. I typically dress myself from Old Navy & Target jewelry sections but would love a chance to change it up!
I’d love to have this to help get me back into jewelry making. My supplies are calling out to me, but I need inspiration! This book is just what I need.
I do not have pierced ears and as such must wear clips. There is a dearth of such thing out there so I must make my own. Any new suggestions are a very welcome sight for me. I would love to have this book to help me with new ideas.
Just in time! My earring phase is coming back after a 8-year hiatus. What a perfect time to learn how to make my own!
I have a new job that requires a new look…this book will help me create that…while developing my inner crafty girl!!
How could you NOT want this book? The cover alone makes me salivate with crafty excitement! Awesome. Very highly awesome.
I work as the coordinator of a jewelry program in Managua, Nicaragua. We work with youth and families that live in and around La Chureca, the municipal trash dump. Through our program, students learn how to make jewelry and receive a portion of the profit for each piece sold. We have over 100 participants that once worked picking up garbage, and are now making jewelry!
We are always looking for new ideas and inspiration, and receiving a book like this would be very exciting for the teachers and students alike.
If you are interested in learning more about our program, visit http://www.fabretto.org
Thank you!
PS– did I mention we have an office in DC? You wouldn’t even have to ship it internationally :)
I’d love this book because, after years of being able to wear any kind of shiny little junk earrings my heart desired, it became impossible for me to wear any. My lobes would just react so badly. After years of simply not wearing any, I started re-investigating what I COULD wear, and found some nice platinum ear wires that don’t seem to irritate me at all! This means I’ll be making all my OWN earrings, but that’s okay; I enjoy that more than shopping any time. :)
I love making earrings and I’ve been trying to get a hold of this book with no luck. I love how inspiring the few preview pages are.
so pretty! I’d love to learn how to make some of the earrings in this book, the ones on the cover look gorgeous! it would be great to learn some of the interesting techniques… and it would assure that I’d never show up to a party with the same gift as somebody else! :)
I love making jewelry, especially earrings! This would help inspire me to create new pieces.
I would love this book, even though my ears arent pierced because I love to create and I know of a local jewelry club that would love to have this book! thank you!

The books looks very interesting. I design and make jewelry, earrings and rings are my favorite type of jewelry to make and wear.
Christmas is coming…must craft pretty things for gifts!
I hope I am lucky enough to win this book! would love to be inspired to use my beads more creatively…
I just started wearing earrings again, and I would love this book so I can have fabulous ears!
It’s a good book. Read the reviews for the book from previous readers. It’s the exact kind of book I’m looking for – to add to my jewelery making collection.
