DIY “Confuse-a-tron” Workshop in Berkeley

Home

The UC Berkeley Art Museum is hosting what looks like a super fun workshop this Friday:

This Friday, February 25, as part of our L@TE: Friday Nights @ BAM/PFA series, we’re hosting an event called Machine Project Presents Confuse-a-tron. Confuse-a-tron is a sort of workshop mash-up which will include sessions on making kimchee, converting melons into amplified drums, cloning plants and, um, applying tranimal drag makeup. Machine Project is an LA-based art space that produces events that seek to make rarified knowledge accessible. Should be quite an interesting night; our most hands-on L@TE event so far. Tickets are only $7 for the general public and is free for BAM/PFA members and UCB faculty, staff, and students.

The workshop is a team effort from UC Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Flim Archive and (LA-based) Machine Project. [via Make: Online]
