The Arduino Nano 3.0 is a surface mount breadboard compatible version of the ever-popular Arduino micro controller. It’s small, has integrated USB, and is breadboard friendly. It has more or less the same functionality of the Arduino Duemilanove, but in a different package. Physically, it’s missing the power jack, but it can still sense and switch to the higher potential source of power. It’s perfect for embedding into your next project.

Be sure to visit the Maker Shed at Maker Faire Bay Area on May 21st & 22nd, 2011. We will have lots of Makers exhibiting all sorts of Arduino projects and more! Can’t make it to San Mateo? Join the Arduino revolution by reading MAKE Volume 25.

Maker Shed

The Maker Shed is brought to you by Maker Media, the makers of MAKE Magazine, the Maker Faire, and much more.

Launched originally as a source for back issues of MAKE Magazine, the Maker Shed expanded rapidly to meet the demand for ‘projects in a box,’ otherwise known as kits. Now we have a little bit of everything for makers, crafters, and budding scientists, from Arduinos to sock monkeys to chemistry sets .
