I was talking with one of our staff members tonight and mentioned some of the rock stars that we’ve written about over the years who are makers of some sort. Not a Rocker, but in the category of other stars who are makers I would definately put William H. Macy, who is a wood turner/wood worker.

IIRC Tom Scholz of Boston has made several bits of electronics related to music.
Also, Godley and Creme had the Gizmotron. It was a huge flop, but it was definitely cool.
