Pete Prodoehl from Milwaukee Makerspace shared these fantastic photos of a few of the cars their members have built for their own Nerdy Derby. His car, Poundin’ Sand, is created from laser cut wood and is filled with sand for weight. Don’t forget that the inaugural Nerdy Derby will take place at World Maker Faire New York on September 29th and 30th at the New York Hall of Science!
