Jack Holloway of Rupt designed Control, a series of 3D-printable (or machinable) furniture joints that accommodate 34x34mm wood and can be constructed with a hammer, saw, and drill to create a variety of simple tables and chairs.
This really emphasizes the cool potential of building furniture out of 3D-printed or CNC-milled connectors and stock wood from the hardware store.
