Jack Holloway of Rupt designed Control, a series of 3D-printable (or machinable) furniture joints that accommodate 34x34mm wood and can be constructed with a hammer, saw, and drill to create a variety of simple tables and chairs.

This really emphasizes the cool potential of building furniture out of 3D-printed or CNC-milled connectors and stock wood from the hardware store. Why bother buying something and hoping it will be right for your room when you can build your own in SketchUp to preview what it will look like? [via MoCo Loco]
