NikonMakeTheShotCameraChallenge

We hope you noticed, over the last few weeks we’ve been looking for hacks, mods, and projects based on shooting photos or video. Anything was fair game, so long as it was a creative approach to making images, and we got 61 great entries.

But now we need you! Go to the contest page and vote for your favorite. Then come back and vote again tomorrow — one vote, per person, per day, until May 20. Is one of these projects yours? Better crowdsource your votes. Post it on Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, Tinder (well, maybe not Tinder) and ask your friends to come help you get your voice heard.

There’s a grand prize at stake — a Nikon 1 V3 camera kit, with three additional lenses — and the top five finalists from the public vote will be judged based on originality, creative use of technology, and the quality of the explanation, so Make: readers can make it themselves. Below are just a handful of entrants, but visit the gallery page to see them all.
