DIY Magnetic Fridge Marble Run

Marble runs are lots of fun. But if you want to make one yourself, it generally requires building a structure of some kind and then installing or carving out gutters for the marbles to run through. A magnetic marble run sidesteps the need for building a supporting structure — your fridge can be that structure.
Warren of My Home Among the Hills posted pictures of the magnetic marble run he made with his daughter, Abigail, using hot glue, magnets, and plumbing odds and ends. “Mo our cat was, of course, terribly interested in the entire bit of fun,” Warren says. “He kept standing under the outlet and got thumped a few times watching the marble come down!”
