On my property there is a huge beaver pond. The beavers have created a dam and in the process chewed down several trees. I have been thinking of what to do with the many trees they cut down, and decided to make a swing. Watch as I create it from one of the downed trees using a rope weaving technique I learned in a book about knots. Enjoy!

I’d add a beaver fur cushion on the seat of the swing, for sure.

That rope weaving technique is called splicing. That’s an eye splice.

+1 for the beaver fur seat cushion.

gotta love all the crotch shots at the end!
