We were blown away by the wonderful submissions that came pouring in for our Prairie Girl Apron Contest. We had almost 200 submissions, and every single one was a testament to the beauty and relevance and practicality (and fun) of the apron. They’re just as important now as they ever were to Laura Ingalls! Thanks to everyone who sent us photos of their aprons and shared their stories about making them. (And a big thanks to Amy Karol for spreading the word on her blog. We love your aprons — Tie One On is always an inspiration!)
Each winner will receive a copy of The Prairie Girl’s Guide to Life courtesy of Taunton books, as well as a mention in the Curio section of Craft, volume 07.
Check the extended entry to see our Honorable Mentions. (It was too hard to choose just five winners!)
