DIY La Roux laser cameo necklace

For Halloween I’m dressing as Elly Jackson from the pop-synth group La Roux. Elly wears a “neo cameo” necklace by Australian designer Sylvie Markovina, consisting of two layers of laser-cut acrylic on a brass chain. With a flick of my vector graphics muscles and access to a laser cutter, I made my own version to wear with my Piet Mondrian-inspired jacket from the video for Bulletproof (check CRAFT for a tutorial on that soon). You can download the .eps files from Thingiverse to make your own.

  1. Nice reproduction, and an awesome idea to dress up as Elly Jackson. That makeup is going to be fun, no doubt. You should post the final costume results!
