Julie over at Home Made repurposed an old door into a bulletin board using a large stock of wine corks. Open up an extra bottle of wine tonight and you’re one cork closer to making your own!

Hi Matt! Thanks for mentioning my project and the shout out. I love Make! A highlight of my fall was checking out Maker Faire for the first time. Always such great ideas – thanks for including me in the blog.
I’ve been saving corks for years to do a similar project. Others could probably befriend a waiter at an upscale restaurant to obtain them.
I’d like to see one of these with the corks end-on to the surface, in a hex pattern.
Very cool. I posted it on our blog :)
