The first day of the 4th annual Kansas City Maker Faire is coming to an end. I’ve been wandering around all day talking to people and seeing some incredible things. What is always striking is the variety you’ll find at a Maker Faire. You can literally go from perfume making to electric cars in five steps. There are some really incredible things to see at this event. The low riders are back and just as shiny and beautiful as they have always been. Eepybird put on a great show demonstrating the reaction between diet coke and mentos, and the robot competitions were a blast all day.
There were 3D printers galore as well as some great molding, illustration, painting, sewing and more!
