Is This a New X-Carve CNC Machine?

In the back of the Inventables Maker Faire meetup last night, we noticed a different-looking X-Carve CNC machine, with a beefy cross rail, a DeWalt router, and an X-Controller attached to the left side of the machine instead of placed separately.

The Inventables team wouldn’t give us any official information about it. Concept design? Community-created upgrade? Upcoming new machine? Either way, it looked nicely refined and would be a desirable update, especially that cross rail that has to support the weight and force of the mill as it carves through material…

We’ll keep our eyes open for more info.
