We haven’t had a chance to test this stuff out, but model makers and monster sculptors sound pretty enthused about a 3D printer filament that lets you take a printed design and use traditional techniques to give a finely sculpted finish. It’s got a few days left on Kickstarter; check out Tested.com’s video about it from earlier this spring. We’ll try to get our hands on some of the filament soon to give it a proper review.
