Amazing Embroidered Eggs From French Artist

Last month, I posted about Brett Bara’s awesome embroidered eggshell tutorial. She’s followed up by sharing this video about a French artist named Annie Garcin who creates amazing embroidered eggs.

Like me, she does use a Dremel tool to pre-drill tiny holes in the egg shell for the actual embroidery. But rather than cut an opening in the egg, she drills her design on both sides of the egg, and works the needle in and out through the tiny holes.

Wow. I can’t even imagine the level of skill it takes to work these designs so quickly and beautifully as she does in the video. And she’s even using silk ribbon on the eggs! Amazing. Thanks for sharing, Brett!
