I am thoroughly in love with the simple forms and retro style of Serbian designer Ana Kraš and her beautiful lamps. Her handmade Bonbon series attires steel wire frames with colorful knit yarns, while the M Lamp remains naked, waiting for you to dress it up in a garment lampshade. (The M Lamp was inspired by a friend who put dresses and scarves on a floor lamp in order to create better mood lighting.) Kraš most recently showed at this year’s Salone Satellite, part of the Milan furniture fair dedicated to new and emerging designers. Check out more pix and projects after the jump! [via Teagan Tall]
The Noodle, a family of side tables inspired by garbage baskets, and the Hug Chair, made from 2 layers of plywood.
The Ksilofon, a simple construction clothing rack of understated elegance that blatantly thumbs fellow contemporaries of the ersatz plastic variety.
The Hive Lamp, a floor standing model of it’s cousin, the Bonbon.
More Bonbons in action.
