The recent Paris fashion shows got a dose of fashion technology with some of the animatronic-controlled dresses that floated down the runway. Five dresses in all had computerized underpinnings in the bust and skirt. From the MIT Technology Review, “Wires within the tubes connect to motors at the bottom of the dress. The motors reel in wires attached to the outer layer of the garment, altering its shape.” [ via ] Link.
