Art Hack Day

After a two-day hackathon, hundreds attended the second annual Art Hack Day in NYC, to view the builds of over 60 makers who joined forces and produced 27 unique projects, from physical sculptures to interactive screen- and projection-based installations. Makers explored the God mode theme, using everything from Twitter’s API and a Leap Motion controller to paper animations and online image archives. You can explore all of the projects here, along with some images from the event below.

Art Hack Day has quickly expanded its presence, having already established regional events in NYC, Boston, and San Francisco. Next up the organizers are travelling to Sweden in April for their first international event in Stockholm.
