AutoStitch looks pretty incredible, it can automatically stitch your photos together, there’s a free demo to try out too (Windows) – “Autostitch is the world’s first fully automatic 2D image stitcher. Capable of stitching full view panoramas without any user input whatsoever, Autostitch is a breakthrough technology for panoramic photography, VR and visualisation applications. This is the first solution to stitch any panorama completely automatically, whether 1D (horizontal) or 2D (horizontal and vertical).” [via] – Link & gallery.

There’s a Mac program based on the same technology called Calico. I’ve been pleased with the results from it so far. I have one from Hong Kong and one from Beijing on Flickr.
Tried Hugin for the first time a while back (hugin.sf.net). It’s a PanoTools GUI (panotools.sf.net). Amazing results. OSX, Windows, and Linux versions. And it’s free!
I saw one site where is possible to upload and stitch panoramas – very very good quality and far better than other tools on market
