A fan of the show Broad City? Need your own gentle reminder to let go of the FOMO (fear of missing out)? You definitely won’t want to miss out on the awesome Broad City-inspired NOMO FOMO cross-stitch sampler and stitchalong that’s currently happening on BUST!
For this stitchalong, however, we’ll be working on the above sampler, inspired by Ilana from Broad City’s problem with “FOMO,” or “fear of missing out,” which leads to the girls frantically hopping from party to party to make sure they aren’t missing something better. We say no mo to that! Stay home, do some cross stitch, and you’ll have no mo FOMO.
In celebration of the release of Julie Jackson‘s new anniversary edition of Subversive Cross Stitch, she’s partnered with Debbie Stoller on BUST to bring you a decidedly modern stitchalong!
Is this your first time cross-stitching? No problem! Because they’re awesome, Julie designed this beginner-friendly NOMO FOMO sampler specially for this three-part stitchalong, and, each week, Debbie will be including detailed step-by-step instructions for the stitching. Weeks one and two are already available, so you’ll be crafting in no time!
Want to join in on the fun?
To get started, check out part one of the BUST stitchalong, where you’ll learn the basics of cross-stitch tools and supplies and find a list of everything you’ll need for the project.
Then, when you have your materials at the ready, head on over to part two of the BUST stitchalong, where you’ll find the printable NOMO FOMO cross-stitch chart, plus an intro to cross-stitch tutorial to show you how it’s done.
Getting your stitchy snark on is so easy, you’ll wonder why you haven’t been doing it for years!
