Can’t wait for this!
Oh man! I can tell you that every crafter *I* spoke with at Bazaar Bizarre was super excited for CRAFT! As a big fan of MAKE, I’m sure this will be just as awesome, packed full of crafty goodness.
I can’t wait!!!! Finally!!!!
This is very excitting news!! Any chance of featuring articles on Loom Knitting or Rake Knitting?

I plan on buying a subscription of this for my nieces.
I’d love to see an article on turning pet hair into wool. There are places that do this commercially, but it would make for an interesting how-to project. I’ve been collecting my Belgian shepherd’s fluff for this purpose:

I once said I wanted a magazine like Make, only for crafts. This is like a dream come true.
I understand the excitement around this great publication, but I hope this doesn’t start a “rift” in the maker community… I enjoy seeing “craft” projects in the MAKE zine and on the website very much, I hope MAKE will continue to feature and support the craft side of things, and not push it off to the side. (Or vice versa!) I guess I’ll just have to subscribe to both. MAKERS and CRAFTERS should be one, not two separate entities. imho.
Funny you should ask, Stefan — I just taped an episode of Knitty Gritty on spinning with dog hair! Natalie, maybe I should write something on spinning for Make? (hint hint)! Or check out knitgrrl.com for info on my upcoming spinning book…
cool, but I already can’t afford to subscribe to make, now it’s gonna be two cool magazines I can’t afford.
Thanks for the great comments and suggestions everyone! Please keep them coming!
And Stefan, I posted this tutorial on hand spinning dog hair up on the MAKE Blog last month. Check it out!
