Check out this fantastic video romp through the first-ever Irish Maker Faire: Dublin Mini Maker Faire.

Hosted at Science Gallery on July 14, the event showcased more than 40 makers, and entertained over 5,000 attendees.  The video captures a great range of making:  robots, wearable sculpture, a personal space shuttle, cigar box guitars, and crochet.  And lots of Maker Faire flags!

Apparently the good-time mood was accentuated by the fact that after weeks of rain, it didn’t rain at all on the day of the faire.

So here’s hoping for clear skies in 2013!   To get involved, email info@makerfairedublin.com, or follow Dublin Mini Maker Faire on Facebook.
