As a gal with dark, almost-black hair, I definitely have to agree with Kaylah’s emphasis on exercising patience to keep your hair healthy. I can personally confirm that it is possible to bleach your hair until it breaks off—there was a reason I had that cute pixie cut in my late teens—and I don’t recommend it! Turns out, awesome color just doesn’t look that awesome on hair with the texture of straw.
