Anything can be a embroidered, as Lithuanian artist Severija Inčirauskaitė-Kriaunevičienė proves with an incredible series of embroidered metal objects. By simply drilling holes into metal she is able to stitch images that are realistic and related to the function of the objects.

In my work, I take pleasure in things that are only insignificant details to most people. An ordinary human being and mundane fragments of his or her life acquire an exceptionally important meaning in my works; meanwhile, recognised icons of beauty are less important to me.
