Embroidery-Hoop Ceiling Decoration

Lorena and David of San Francisco decked out their baby Lino’s nursery ceiling with embroidery hoops filled with all different fabrics, hanging from the ceiling. They sprinkled in some extra special hoops with glow-in-the-dark “friendly ghost” night protectors that David silk-screened himself. I love this idea, because a baby is often laying on his back looking up at the ceiling — give him something to look at!
To see more, check out the great collection of images in Lorena’s Flickr collection. The images were taken on the day that baby Lino was delivered!
