Artist, Lucky Jackson, is creating a piece of custom art each day for 365 days in a 365 Days of Lucky project. So far, they’ve all been delightfully charming stitcheries, primarily of people. A recent theme of her work has been “I think I love you but I’m a preteen and my Mom says it’s just hormones,” in which she’s stitched some of her biggest movie star crushes of the 80s. Her Emilio Estevez strikes a particularly strong chord with me (holy cats, did she nail those eyes!), but you can also appreciate her Sean Penn, Matt Dillon, Rob Lowe, Billy Idol, Charlie Sheen and Nicholas Cage creations. I’m blown away and inspired by her prolific work, and can’t wait to follow along for the rest of the 300+ more days! [via doe-c-doe]
