Howโd you get started making?ย Iโm pretty sure it started with the discovery as a child that I could take my toys apart with a screwdriver. From there it was a long, slow, inevitable road to putting things together. I went to art school, but had to seek out skills independently from many mentors after graduation.
What type of maker would you classify yourself as?ย Fine artist.
Whatโs your favorite thing youโve made?ย Iโm pretty proud of my โMegalodonโ sculpture. It took over two years to assemble and contains more individual elements than any other project Iโve attempted.
Whatโs something youโd like to make next?ย Iโve been thinking about working on some sculptures that hang from the ceiling or walls, as a departure from traditional standing objects.
Any advice for people reading this?ย Stop reading this and go do something with your hands.
Who else should we profile?ย Iโd give Mark Galt a try.
Where can people find you on the web?ย On my personal website, Instagram, Facebook, at theย Lost and Foundry, and the On-Sight Project.
