Haystack is a craft school that teaches blacksmithing, clay, fibers, glass, graphics, metals, and wood; they’ve even got a Fab Lab. The studios wind their way down the side of a huge moss covered rock on Deer Isle in Maine. Their Summer deadline for scholarships and workshops is coming up at the end of the month:

Haystack offers full Technical Assistant and Work Study Scholarships for our summer workshops. There are three scholarship categories; technical assistant, work study, and minority. We award up to 100 scholarships annually, which are available through competitive application to those who are 18 years of age or older.

Grab the application at their website.
