I live in Brooklyn, and, from the subway to my block, it seems like big, colorful headphones are absolutely everywhere, pulling double-duty as music necessities and fashion accessories. Of course, DIY customizing is the next logical step for any must-have gadget, and I’ve seen plenty of gorgeous paintings and drawings on the plastic at the ears and a whole lot of skillfully arranged spikes, studs, and rhinestones. They always look great, but they’re not usually my style. This embroidered headphone project that Lova Blåvarg shared on Sweet Paul Magazine, however, is something I can totally get behind.
