How-To: Make a Necklace from a Necktie

I have to admit, I have a weakness for collecting men’s neckties. I don’t actually wear them, but I am enticed by the possibilities for crafting with them. I love the wild array of colors, patterns, and textures you can find in these formal accessories. They are easy to find and cheap to pick up at the thrift shop, especially on sale day.

This is a project that I would definitively wear. Because it is a separate accessory, you can mix and match it with different outfits. Add some beads or buttons to jazz it up even more.
