How-To: Simple White Dot Curtains

I love beautiful window treatments, but, let’s face it, stylish store-bought options can be really expensive. (And, of course, it always seems like I’m drawn to the most pricy thing in the store!) That’s why I love this easy-to-follow tutorial for making a set of breezy white dot curtains from Laura at A Beautiful Mess.

These custom curtains are utterly lovely—especially with sunlight filtering through—and I think they look just as good something comparable from a home decor store.

Don’t sew? No problem! If you ask me, it’s the hand-stamped dots that make these curtains special, giving them the perfect amount of handmade charm. So, even if you can’t thread a needle, you can certainly pick up a set of inexpensive pre-made curtains in a similar fabric, then print your own design on those!

After seeing this project, my own curtains are starting to look a little bit rough in the springtime sun, so this just might have to be my next weekend project. Thinking the same thing? Click here to see how it’s done.
