This weekend I went crazy searching for a particular pair of earrings. My jewelry was a tangled mess and I was beyond frustrated trying to get ready in a hurry and not finding what I wanted. I decided then to take time out to craft a solution. This is a simple project that is cute, effective, and easy to create.

Step 1: Cut a tree branch down into a size that fits the proportion of your flowerpot.

Step 2: Clean up the surface of the tree branch with sandpaper. Rub any loose bark or bits of twigs off until the branch is smooth.

Step 3: Spray paint the branch. Coat it twice, and let it fully dry.

Step 4: Plant the branch deep in the flower pot. Pack the dirt in to hold it up. Place a rock in between the branch and the edge of the flower pot to support the branch where it cantilevers over. Be sure to secure it well enough so that it can hold the weight of your jewelry collection.

Step 5: Cover the dirt with moss or lichen. Add jewelry, and admire your work!
