I almost never wear flip-flops—the plastic straps are so uncomfortable when they’re being broken in, that it just isn’t worth it for a pair of boring summer shoes. But, this tutorial for making braided knit flip-flop straps from Make It and Love It has me rethinking my position. With straps fashioned out of upcycled t-shirts, these much-improved sandals look very cute and very comfy!
