Kitchener stitch (also known as a grafting stitch) is a technique that comes up reasonably often in my own knitting projects—especially when I’m joining pieces together or finishing up the toes in socks—and, to be honest, it took me way longer than expected to get the hang of it the first time I gave it a try. And, while I generally swear by photo tutorials, this is definitely one of those techniques where seeing the movements in real time is really helpful. Luckily, my pal Heidi from Hands Occupied put together this fantastic kitchener stitch video tutorial to show you how it’s done.
