LED Rainbows and Knitting Machines at NY Fashion Week 2014

Yarn and sci-fi aesthetics were seamlessly joined together in a stunning show called M.A.G.I.K (Majestic Astral Glowing Iridescent Knitting) by knitwear designer Lindsay Degen during this year’s New York Fashion Week.

Set against a massive color-changing LED rainbow, the show integrated live machine knitting, synchronized to electronic music, beside models adorned in knitwear made with reflective yarn, as well as customized crocs featuring rainbow LED strips.
