Love Rock: Faux Stone Jewelry

Now that spring in the air, we look forward to spending more time outdoors, and re-kindling our love of nature. So why not show off how down to earth you are with a rock shaped polymer clay pendant?

While this project is not made from a real stone, it is certainly doing a good job of tricking the eye! This lovely idea comes from Vanessa at Tried & True.

There’s a secret ingredient used in this craft project that might just surprise you. Hint, you can spot it in the photo below.

You can certainly turn this into a necklace charm, or try using your faux rock as a ring, or even incorporate it in to a bracelet. Heck, it would totally make a cool magnet too.

I would take it one step further by using this technique to create a round pendant, and add some red crystals to create an ode to the Love Rock from the Problem Child 2 movie. Remember this?!
