Mike Libby’s Insect Lab

Spluch writes –

“Mike Libby creates little cybernetic sculptures by combining real insects with antique watch parts and electronic components. Each one of these unique specimens comes in various shapes, sizes and colours. They are all assembled by hand. Specimens are presented in either custom made black shadow boxes or glass bell jars, allowing for display anywhere. Prices range from $175 to $400.”Link.

No comments yet… Everyone got up in arms about the glowing LED eye rats. I guess doing this is ok and somehow different since no one cares about bugs.

These have widing mechanisms, do just the parts move or the the wings move too? That would be sweet.
