Somehow I’ve managed to acquire boxes of cheap headphones, probably from airplanes or from some gadgets that came with them. You can get “safety headphones” at thrift stores, or just about anywhere – usually for under $10.

These headphones are super cheap, so I tied the cord in a knot – otherwise it would eventually split.

Next up, pop off or cut the headphones off – tuck them in the safety headphones, that’s really it. You can leave the foam on, off, put behind the safety foam – try everything to see which one works best.

Here we go – perfect for that next noisy flight. I can’t hear anything with these on, besides the music / podcast – it’s wonderful – photos.
