Weekend Projects: Add Volume, Jack (for Circuit Bending Fun)

You knew it wouldn’t be long before we dove into the wonderful world of circuit bending for our Weekend Projects series, brought to you by RadioShack. For our third project, Add Volume, Jack, we’ll learn how to install an audio output jack and a volume knob onto any mono speaker toy circuit. However I’m certain once you’ve gone and bent one toy, you’ll understand how the principles can be applied to other electronic circuits, not just toys. After all it’s only electricity!

I’m especially excited to see what everyone builds this weekend, because no two bent toys will look or sound alike. So please email us your project build notes, images, and stories. You may end up featured here.
