Using discarded books that are full of amazing images, artist L A Chhay makes charming sculptural wall hangings.

Paper as a sculptural medium is delicate and quiet. Using library discards and otherwise damaged books, I create my pieces. I love dissecting and reassembling to tell an old story in a new way. I choose each foundation book carefully, mining paper like gold, searching for just the right one to begin forging each work.
