Faux Stained Glass Jewelry

SSS Tissue paper

Get the look of beautiful stained glass with this clever crafty cheat. You can make these one of a kind jewelry pendants using a few simple supplies: tissue paper, clear resin, and soft wire. This technique is really neat and I could see it being applied to all kinds of projects other than jewelry. The key to getting this translucent effect is to use tissue paper instead of regular opaque paper. You can start with white tissue and use stamps with permanent ink to add patterns and color.

I’ve said before that I’m a firm believer in jewelry never being too big, bold or crazy, so I made plenty of these pendants to go around!  I was intimidated to try them at first, but once you get going, they’re not too hard at all.
