Last week, Jordan of Oh Happy Day! posted about an awesome project she put together for a friend’s birthday, and followed up today with a full tutorial on how she pulled it off.

Last month for Aubrey’s birthday I organized a surprise for her. We blew up a picture of her and cut it down into cards, 112 to be exact. Then I sent them to her family and friends all over the world with instructions to send them back with love notes and drawings. The whole week of her birthday she kept getting cards from friends and family like pieces of a puzzle. It turned out really great. Not all of the cards made it back but we knew that would happen and I kind of like that some got lost or forgotten.

How awesome is that!? Can you imagine how much fun it would be to receive so much fun, special mail around your birthday and then have it assemble into a cool piece of art? Now to figure out who might be lucky enough to get one of these this year ….
