How-To: Personalized Bookmarks

Paper Crafts

I had to chuckle when I read Patricia Zapata’s latest project post on A Little Hut.

I finally got fed up with not having a decent bookmark to use. I know a random business card or scrap of paper will suffice, but why not make something a bit nicer to look at?

I laughed because just last night as I was reading my book before bed, I thought to myself, “Man, I really need a better bookmark. This receipt from the library is just not cutting it.” I love that these bookmarks are simple and elegant and could be personalized for everyone in your family, or as gifts for kids at school. Better yet, they look like they are very easy to make. I think I’ll retire the ole falling-apart-library-receipt in favor of one of these nice bookmarks.
