I’m loving this interview with Elod Beregszaszi (phew! try saying that name three times fast!) about the art of paper sculpture. He has this to say about his concertina folds: “In folding terms it’s like making a sentence out of words, and I love the way I can sculpt collapsible forms through the middle plane, between a valley and a mountain fold – or ‘spines’ as I like to call them.” There are lots more interesting insights over on the Upon a Fold blog.
