Kid Crafts: Recycled Cardboard Rings

Are April showers are keeping your kids indoors? Recycled cardboard rings are the perfect dreary day DIY!

Cardboard crafts are one of my favorite family-friendly project ideas because creativity is always way more important than having the right supplies! No matter what is —or isn’t—in your craft cupboard or recycle bin, you can spend a wonderful afternoon with your mini makers using supplies that you already have at home. A great example: this easy-to-follow tutorial for making recycled cardboard rings that Amy from Maker Mama shared on PBS Parents.

Whether they stop at simple shapes decorated with paint or crayons or go all out, bringing glue, glitter, and beads into the mix, there are so many ways for kids to make this project their own!
